Tulane is staying div 1. It is hard to win because of the ridiculous limitations, but good coaches succeed and go on, some to win national championships, Mack Brown, Larry Smith, Tommy Bowden, Rich Rod.

Thats alot of it, but it doesn't help when more than half of your student body is from out of state and most don't care all that much about football or athletics in generaly.
