Honestly, here is my take. Bama and Tennessee can shove their "traditional" rivalry game up their arse since LSU has to give up its "traditional" night games for the benefit of the contest.

Since it's about making money and being in such a great conference, let those little effers sacrifice SOMETHING for once.

I understand Joe Alleva and the LSU admin can't do anything, but they showed that they likely did nothing but sit back and let the SEC dictate all the decisions on this new television rights contract.

Why is it that Bama and Tennessee's admins are throwing a hissy fit over losing one game, while LSU can't even have it's traditional night SEC game at all?

THAT IS the point...EXACTLY...some SEC schools seem to get what they want "tradition-wise"...while some get NOTHING...have we even tried to lobby/negotiate ?
WILL we try to even lobby/negotiate...THAT is the question !
btw. the LSU fanbase also seems to dislike the Fri. after Thanks-G. game...shouldn't it be some one elses' turn ???
