We've allowed 5 punt return yards all year. With Wing's hang-time and placement, this continues to be a huge advantage in field position.

Also, we avg. about 35 minutes TOP vs opponents 25. Solid.

I've never been as excited to watch a punter as I am when Wing gets in the game to kick. He kicked a couple into the endzone yesterday, and I thought to myself, "what the hell is wrong with Wing."

What is LSU average starting position vs. the opposing teams?

I know that the only game where we didn't have an advantage in field position was the Miss. St. game. And that's the game Wing missed.

Special teams is very important, just ask MSU. They would have won yesterday if they had a dependable kicker.

IMO, a lot of Miles's success as LSU's HC can be contributed to his attention to detail within our ST and having a player like Wing on the team is just another example of Miles's priority on the Special Team play.
