I enjoy listening to Verne and Gary but the Peyton Manning shite was aggravating. Certainly after we score they're just like "Oh and LSU just scored."

The game was over at that point. Who cares?

The relevance to the game is important to lsu fans / players/ coaches - all that CBS ( and other media) cares about is that folks don't change the channel.

The game was, from their view point, over and they felt that the non-SEC viewers would feel so as well - so they talked non-stop with Peyton ( about mostly irrelevant to the game stuff)

When Manning was in the booth I felt like I had visitors in my living room. It was if they were conducting an interview with him while, oh by the way, a football game was being played. I simply turned the volume off and just watched the game.
