Brantley had 190 yards in half a game, then he got hurt. There are some questions about that secondary.

Alot of those yards came off of one busted play. Bama was focused on stopping Rainy and Demps, not Brantley. With that logic LSU has more questions at secondary. They gave up 240 yards through the air against Oregon and 463 passing yards against WVU, a team with no running game.

It's all about the scheme. Keep in mind, Chief isn't over there thinking about how to keep LSU up in the defensive statistics rankings, he's trying to come up with schemes that match the opponents offense. Against WVU he tried keeping everything in front of the defensive backfield and making WVU use passing plays to dink and dunk down the field, meanwhile the LSU D is waiting for mistakes. They came. LSU took advantage by picking up two fumbles and two interceptions.

This team is RESULTS oriented, not statistics oriented. Don't let the numbers fool you.
