Great rule in the enforces sportsmanlike behavior. Caoches need to teach their players to be classy and not do the Deon High Step or the Mark Gastineau sack dance. Wing's infraction was puny, if that

I agree that unsportsmanlike conduct should be penalized, but I stand by my opinion on the appropriate application of the penalty.

And I don't think Wing's actions broke the letter of the rule either.

That's my point. I'm all for sportsmanlike behavior, but some of the posters have equated Wing's action to true taunting. But what Wing did was just a part of the joy of the game. If people re-watch it they say it literally lasts a split second. His actions were nothing like the throat slash, getting in someone's face, etc.

There is absolutely no way any rational football fan would agree (whether it's a bad rule or bad enforcement) that points should be taken off the board for what that kid did.
