The same pundits would have told you that Ridley wasn't in the same class of Ingram as well.

Both Ridley and Ingram play in spread style NFL teams with elite QBs and Ridley looks like a much better RB by far in their 1st year.

based on what? 25 carries for 161 1 TD against 62 for 216 and 2 TDs. yes, ridley's ypc are higher, but ingram has been given the ball on goal line and short yardage situations. green-ellis gets those carries for the patriots still.

1) Saints don't run the spread
2) Ridley has not been more impressive

I think Trent is better, but the above statement is also true. Saying they are not in the same class is kind of ridiculous considering he is a year ahead.
