You don't see the faulty logic here?

Of course Bama's opponents will have less yards per game than LSU's, because they played BAMA who is giving up less yards per game than LSU.

That works both ways?

"Of course LSU's stats won't look as good, they had to defend West Virginia and Oregon, not North Texas and Kent State."

This isn't week 2. The opponents have all had at least 4 other opponents.

1 game out of 6 isn't enough to skew the stats that much
