I think all of college football wish that team would play LSU or Bama. We would never hear about BS State again.
heres the thing that kills me. they played UGA and thats their marquee win. UGA is the 6th/7th best team in the SEC. bama, LSU, arkansas, auburn, south carolina, then prob UGA. 6th! thats a must win for an SEC elite like LSU/bama. but its the biggest game of the year for boise.

I agree. Boise is decent team. I'd put them 10-15 probably. I don't think they're top 5, but they can stay on the field with a lot of teams.
You can't really blame them for their schedule. It's not as easy as people think for them to play a tough schedule. Nobody wants them in their conference because their academics are absolutely terrible, and they have a small state population with a small fan base. And nobody wants to play them in the regular season because nobody wants to take the chance of losing. There's little upside to it. It's the same thing Fresno St went through in the early 2000s.
That said, this Boise team isn't as good as a couple years ago. So I'm very confident LSU would take them down, unlike the debacle with Oklahoma.

Don't give me Boise beat UGA garbage this season. UGA is not LSU and UGA isn't even a top 5 sec team.
You give me LSU with time to rest and prepare against Boise.. It is a fricking mismatch. Please make it happen.

Whatever works. He is better than any QB on LSu's team (that plays) and possibly in the SEC. I have always enjoyed watching Boise over the years. Wuerffel didn't have a gun and was an excellent college QB.
I don't get the absolute hate for Boise. Insecurity? I respect what they have done with their program.

Yeah thats all he can do.......
He orchestrates a pro style offense.........Reads the field probably better than anybody outside of Andrew Luck, distributes it with pretty good accuracy, and is clutch when he needs to be.
People who hate on Boise have small man syndrome........We are LSU, of course, we could over power them over the course of a 4 quarter football game. This really isn't even debatable as the nation has never put them in a national championship game............
BUT,
They win consistently despite whomever they play, follow a proven formula to do it, and still Tigerdroppings is bitching about it because they a favorite topic among ESPN talking heads(little guy trying to make it story).
Get over it, Boise is a powerhouse of the little guys.

Boise plays a tough game in the beginning of the year, because they can scheme for it all summer. Then they go through the rest of the year playing weak OOC, and weak conference teams. Then they get 3-4 to prepare for a big bowl game. They have good coaching. You put them in a tougher conference and they have 3-4 loses a year because they don't have more than a week to prepare for the top teams they face.

We are recognized as the #1 team in the nation? Our Defense is widely considered as the most athletic and fastest? We are widely considered to be 1 of the most physical in the nation year after year?
What more do you want? Do you want to be USC of 2003-05? Consistently being blown each week and told how awesome you are and how great your program is? While all the while you eluded the SEC champ and lost the most significant game with their best team ever to VY?

Boise doesn't bother me up until people start claiming they could stand a chance against LSU. That's what really pisses me off.

Ah that is so cute how that one frick claims Kellen Moore is better than any qb LSU has.. Every fricking team we play all season makes that very claim and say oh LSU has no qb they have no offense we will win easily.. and what happens every week. They get beat.
LSU is more talented at every single position outside of maybe qb.. but even at qb they have more depth and a unique element. They would destroy Boise. I am not a boise hater until I start hearing how LSU couldnt handle them.. Then I become a Boise hater like no other.

It wouldn't surprise me if an inordinate amount of our beloved trap-game theorists came out off the woodworks about their concern for this game. Boise Broncos blow when compared to real competition as far as I'm concerned.
