None of it matters as long as we keep winning.

I guess I just don't get how Clemson could be twice as good as we are, and a Bama almost that much.

Texas being at 5 is pretty comical and Wisconsin not being in the top 10 is laughable.

Guys, relax. You're looking at this the wrong way.

The computers aren't saying "Alabama" is best, they're saying that "Alabama has so-far accomplished the most" (according to the computer calculations). It is only as the season nears its conclusion do computer rankings gradually become "Team 1 is best".

Kentucky, Mississippi State, and FCS foe Northwestern State are bringing LSU's strength of schedule down.

Relax, everything will work itself out as the season progresses.

If you want to get even madder, look at where my mathematical algorithm has LSU... and mine has been more accurate at predicting winners than even Sagarin. But, no, LSU is definitely better than at least two teams above it right now... it's just that, unlike most, my system starts every team off exactly equal (zero bias) and it can take a while to get the proper level of mathematical separation. collegepigskin.com

Or if you want to really lose it, Colley's rankings are used in the BCS calculations and his zero-bias rankings have LSU down even further: Colley

Wisconsin not being in the top 5 at the end of the year pretty much kills this projection's credibility IMO

ETA

- I saw 'projection' and assumed that this was EOY; is this supposed to be current rankings? either way, Wisconsin should be top 5.....

Those ratings couldn't be more useless.
