OP, I need a few more specifics to help you answer your question. From personal experience and several pits the better you know what you want and why you want it, the better a choice you will make. A good start follows.
Price Range?
Cold smoking or Hot smoking?
Just BBQ or BBQ and Grill
Charcoal/wood or gas/wood chips?
Whole log?
Set/Forget or more tending/better Q?
#People cooking for?
Trailer mounted or backyard?
