Honestly, for all the "it gives the defense more to prepare for" that I hear, I'm concerned that it gives our own LSU offense too much crap to work on in practice instead of the starting QB (#12) and future starting QB (#8) getting needed reps in practice time.

it sounds like you want JJ off the team so JL and Mett are our #1 and #2 guys. i understand but do not agree. however, that doesn't matter one whoop because he is on the team, he is a senior with tons of experience and our coach and players think he will help us win ballgames. the fact that many of our fans do too just isn't relevant.
have you seriously considered what the situation would be if JL went down with an injury, perhaps a season ending one? with the teams we play, i'm glad our coaches consider that possibility.
