Notice that JJ ran the ball a lot? The only reason he was put into the game was to make it clear to Florida they had two different QB styles to prepare for, something that's hard to do and diffuses their preparation for Jarrett Lee.

I think there is something to this. There is often method behind Miles' madness.

For the first four games, people here - even many negatigers - were praising Miles. Now, with this one action, people are back to nailing Miles to the cross. Just because YOU cannot understand the purpose behind his action doesn't mean that is wrong. Support Miles' decision to play JJ. Apparently, the rest of the team does...and that is ALL that matters.

A regional broadcast of an 11 am game is not prime time. It was seen across the south but was not a high focus game and not a frontpage of espn game.

Les had said multiple times that JJ has some plays that he will run in the offense and Les knows the team feels JJ was wronged.

It is a wise move to put JJ in let him score, let the fans boo, and move forward with the realization that Miles will play JJ some this season.

I would rather the booing now then next week versus Florida where ESPN and all national reporters would focus on the boos and make it into a bigger deal then it is.
