Oh i thought it was JJ's fault?

I said last year the wrs need to catch the balls if they get hands on it. doesnt matter if the pass is shitty, nfl qbs dont throw perfect passes every play, but nfl wrs catch the easy and the hard ones.

I can't agree more.

We have one area (passing game) that had issues, and our fanbase judges the whole game on it.

I literally enjoyed watching our Defense dominate every single play the starters were in. Tackles for loss, almost-INT's, Forced fumbles, 3 sacks, holding UK to 2.5 yards per play. It was amazing.

I enjoyed watching Ford, Magee & Blue and OL tally up 178 yards rushing.

Our special teams were solid. Gave up no big plays.

Everything was outstanding, except our passing game with drops & mis-throws, and the Rant grades our performance as flat.

You all are acting like its a fluke. It's was bad today and JL needs to work on it before the FL/Bama games. You put your head in the sand and see what happens. Look at the reply of game and you will see how off the passes were.

Anyone criticizing Lee's passing today needs to realize how windy it was on the field. Both QBs had problems timing and judging the distance on their throws.

I do agree that Lee was off a bit, but he wasn't as bad as the stats may suggest.

Hitting receivers in stride has never been his forte, but today he was all over the place...

The thread was titled passing game looked terrible.. It was and people getting pissed calling others idiots is ridiculous.. I agree the d was great and special teams were solid but that doesn't change the fact that we struggled passing the ball against Kentucky who stacked the box.. We should, with out a doubt, have been better all the way around in the passing game, from play calling to drops..

You people were watching a different game than I was, even Andre Ware was saying the JL was on the money in the first half, but the receivers were dropping passes.

He converted on a couple of big third downs for us and hit RS10 on a near perfect pass down the middle that he dropped. I think some of you are trying to find fault with the guy.

fricking pathetic if you ask me.

Our route running sucks.
Lee was terribly off target today.

If the receiver gets 2 hands on the ball, there is no reason to not catch it. MOST of the drops were exactly that.

I hate the rant, but you can't deny that throws were wide today. Perhaps wind factored into it (I don't know, I'm not in BR to judge), but very few receivers were hit in the numbers, and there were more than a few underthrown balls. That being said, I'm more than willing to chalk today up to an anomaly given the better performances we've had in the other games this year. Next week vs. UF WILL be better

We had an off day and we still passed for 169 yards.

In Kentucky's last two previous losses:

Florida only passed for 115 yards against UK.

Louisville only passed for 146 yards aginst UK.

Yes Lee was not completely sharp, but say what you want, I think the receiver play is somewhat disappointing and may be the biggest weakness on a great team. None of them are completely dependable, whether it be route running, making the difficult catch or even reliably catching the passes that hit them squarely in the hands. I know some of them are young and hopefully they will continue to develop.

This right here made me lol. Do you really think every pass is SUPPOSED to hit the receiver in the numbers? You obviously don't know much about playing QB.

1) It looked windy, and the weather report said 18mph. I wasn't there so I don't know...

2) Dropped passes

3) When has Jarrett Lee ever been 100% accurate?

I didn't like him throwing into double coverage, though. That shite is dumb and will get us in trouble against Bama or Florida.
