Only if you keep cross divisional rivalries.
Also, divisions are more unbalanced that way.

Gotta say one of the best setups I have seen yet, although I would hate to lose the bama game, think i would like to keep bama south, but this way does keep a good balance. No way of bringing bama south and having florida LSU and bama in one division and it be fair, maybe put vandy and bama south and south carolina and auburn north.
