He's alright.
I had a bean burrito from taco bell the other night. Just not very good. For 99 cents I expect more.

I hate chains as much as the next guy, but what's the alternative?
What is the local alternative to Panera?
What is the local alternative to Bonefish?
What about Coyote Blues? (nearly impossible to get in Casa Garcia at a respectable time of night)
Tell me, and I'll try them instead.
I've eaten at Andrea's and loved it, but I can't afford that every time I wanna take the Misses out.

This is a good question. One thing about Panera and Bonefish is that they will create and attractive front and attract a good consistent clientele.

Agreed. I love Casa Garcia but that parking lot is a big pain the arse to find any spots on weekends.
As much as the people here complain about chains this is a big upgrade compared to the new Red Lobster and Applebee's in B.R.

My biggest concern is quality staffing. The current restaurants in those areas are having problem finding both quality FOH and BOH staff, so it should be interesting.
Bonefish opens first I think, so they'll have an advantage.

It's the same for lunch during the week
And Coyote Blues is just a better restaurant than Casa Garcia

I've been to the one on Acadian before and thought it was good. Both the bf and I had quesadillas. Plus it's a relatively affordable restaurant.

Things I would definitely order in the future if I were you
Guac (the chips that it comes with are great)
Chicken Tortilla Soup - it's fricking epic good
churrascaria plate - good entree if you're looking to split IMO

Bonefish Grill adds a nicer place to that part of Metairie, which lacks those kind of places. I really like Coyote Blues and Panera Bread makes a good sandwich and will be popular among the female crowd. I probably will never eat at Pei Wei. I work in this area and can't go too far for lunch.

I think it's some solid choices.
1) Bonefish = Bang Bang Shrimp = Awesome
2) Pei Wei = I hear great things, nothing like Panda Express.
3) Coyote = Never Been
4) Panera = Very Tasty

You are a very brave woman, there might have a bit of gas produced from consuming that thing.

Just crawl back into your cave now if you have any thoughts that Andrea's is worth a shite.

Tommy Boy pimps this place like a bitch on his food show.

Of course Tom pimps them. He always has and always will.
Andrea's has three different promotions running right now for half off or big discounts. He's trying really hard right now to get people in.
I'm not going to say it is a bad place, but there are several places in Metairie that are better.

Took the words out of my mouth. Peiwei is solid so I have heard.

Never been to Andrea's.
Another good locally owned Italian eatery in Metairie is Fausto's on Veterans near Dorginac's.
