Oregon has the talent, they have the speed, and they have the recruiting.
It's a few things that would affect you. First, with the tempo offense and the offensive gameplan, you'd be down to 2nd/3rd string at some positions by the end of the season because after getting beat down by LSU, you then get to play Miss State (who has a stout team this year), and then Auburn, and then Florida, and then Bama. And not as bowl games, as regular season games back to back, week in/week out.
That's what we mean when we say that. Oh, and Thomas needs to learn how to throw downfield and hit receivers, and ditch the side to side shite the entire game. If Thomas could pass worth a shite other than to a wide open receiver in the flat, Oregon's offense would be unstoppable until you start losing players in injury from the point I made above with that high risk/high reward aggressive type offense.
