We had an identity but we will still need to attack the secondary of the SEC opponents and we should practice it coming up, or, we will get stuffed by a couple of teams. If Alabama puts 9 men in the box and we keep running it up the gut = loss. We have to get 150-180 yards passing from our QB and a few 250 yard games to show we can do it. If we do not get that against bad teams, we need to fix this. However, we are on the right track, just need to mix it up some, like we did with DPeterson with a tight formation.

Ground and Pound offense. Keeps the Defense fresh and with this D they will score half our points!

I think we TRIED last night..we just weren't succesful. We hit the deep ball to Beckham and got the holding call. Then on two play-action passes we just flat out dropped 20+ yard gains. IMHO, I just think we need to EXECUTE better. The Pro-I can be a devastating formation, but it's all predicated on running the football. If you establish that identity among the players it becomes inherent.

I do agree though, the offense is definitely on the right track...TWO 100-yard rushers and a QB wth ZERO interceptions...we can win with that as offesnice part of the formula.
