Yeah I would go back in a heartbeat, but more for the potatoes than the steak. And I basically had no expectations before I went, which is a good thing. People blow places up on this board, and when a poster goes expecting to get jerked off under the table during their meal by a playboy model and that inevitably doesn't occur, they come back on here and lash out about their water glass being half full for 30 seconds.

that's quite unfortunate. some folks need to learn how to temper their expectations.

My wife and I have been to Texas St. Tavern. We had the NY Strip (my fav cut). It was really good. The only problem was that they kept the place so dark, that I literally could not tell if I was eating meat or gristle.
