I hope you're kidding, but you probably aren't.

If LSU loses then wins out, we are in the NC, IMO.

Not if Oregon and Oklahoma go undefeated. a 1-loss SEC team isnt jumping either of them.

If LSU takes a loss I would assume it would have to be in Conference...think Va Tech, our win over them propelled us over everyone in 07. Non Conference games will always be used as a measuring stick. Va Tech turned things around during the season but everyone remembers what we did to them. Even though we should not get blasted like they did any loss will be difficult to come back from...also whats the odds of lossing to Oregon and turning around and winning 11 straight?

especially when you consider @Miss St, @WVU, @Tennesse, @Bama, UF, Ark, and possibly a SECCG...Ole Miss is never easy, and as long as Gus is calling the plays at Auburn I wouldn't over look them either. If we lose the opener I think you can almost lock up any where from 1-2 more losses.

Not a valid argument, Oregon will lose tomorrow. No point debating the inevitable!

pride comes before a fall. oregon is not a team that should be taken lightly...auburn even with Cam and Fairley only won that game by a field goal even though they dominated the LOS the whole game. LSU and Oregon should by all accounts be a great game. Oregon coming off a loss in the NCG should be fired up to play this one especially since its against LSU, a premire program that the SEC is counting on to be among the best teams in the nation this year and to possibly carry their banner to another national title. Darron Thomas has his own personal vendetta in this one too...there are countless storylines in this one that you shouldn't just dismiss.

I thought it had something to do with the fact that he chose the ducks over LSU because Les wouldn't promise to play him at QB.....

Les was tryig to recruit him as a WR and you are correct he chose OR over LSU for that reason. I would think he woud like to prove Les wrong.

I remember being pretty bummed about that. He was all LSU and really wanted to come here because his mom was a huge LSU fan and turned him into one. I followed his recruiting and was excited about having him. He later switched his commitment from LSU to Oregon and then I read why. He was being recruited as an ATH and not as a QB. I am happy he has had the success he had at Oregon and wish Miles would have treated him better than he did. While I think he is better suited for what they do in Eugene...to think he couldnt have been successful in our offense under center as well is just foolish.
