Being the best performer/producer on a college team nad being the best pro prospect do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.

Tim Tebow, many have argued, is the greatest college football player, ever and few would argue that he isn't among the best of all time. Yet he is third behind Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn on the Broncos depth chart.

This is what pro scounts care about, not NECESSARILY tackles, sacks or other stats:

"...rushing the passer or pursuing the action from the backside. Edwards has a frame that should expand over time and offers nice potential. ..."

Yeah, but there's this guy named Mo Claiborne on our team whom perhaps you've heard of. Hell, Rueben Randle.

I could name about six other guys besides Shep and Lavar who he could have put in his shitty arse article.

ok, but Edwards is maybe the 5th best pro prospect of guys who will be draft eligible after this yr. and that might be stretching it a bit. Mo, RR, Ken Adams, and a few of the OL would presumably rated higher.

* leaving Sam off until we see he's back at full speed.
