90 hasn't done much. Edinburg looks a bit lazy but honestly he doesn't have to exert much energy to get his job done. Karr has nothing on offense. St Paul running ball a lot. 24-0 half.

Not many passes. I'll try to pay closer attention to him 2nd half. Hard to tell how he's doing to be fair

like i said in that same thread:

and Karr is overrated. Their kids are getting a lot of play because their coach is doing a good job getting them into camps. It doesnt mean they are all future college players.

people are stupid. just because you go to camps doesn't mean you are good.

Wasnt this game on espn? Any way the st. Pauls schedule always said it was tonight. Not sure karr had it changed.

I didnt mean changed recently, I just meant it was scheduled on a Weds night which is odd.

Anyway, I was not impressed with Edinburg to be honest, other than his size. He is gigantic and his frame could support a lot more weight. He didnt appear to have much of a gut or anything, pretty good build. Im not trying to knock the kid but he looked slow and clumsy and didnt show any aggression at all. Not impressed.

90 on defense made one nice place where he made a tackle on opposite side of field with hard hit. 4 was not involved in the game much at all b/c St P didnt pass the ball much...

Unless they were missing some kids, the Karr team is highly overrated. St P is a good 5A team but it was a complete mismatch.

I was at the game and came away very unimpressed with Karr. They looked the part, but did not play like it. St. Paul's is for real, very well coached, and extremely disciplined. I was expecting a close game and got a legitimate blowout from the start. Karr was never in the game. If Karr did have D1 prospects, I didn't see them on the field. They should and will get better as the season progresses and have success against less formidable teams. The athleticism is there, just not the execution. Good luck to both teams.

I dont think this game is indicative of the quality of Karr. I honestly dont think they were prepared for this game. It was not smart to play 3 games in 10 days.

Also on the Edinburgh thing, hes an ok player currently. He seemed like he pass protected pretty well the couple of times I saw him last year. I dont think hes better than Jonah Austin who we signed last season.

Karr is still loaded... They were more prepared to play my young knights, which didn't count... Remember, they lost to St Paul's last year by 2 scores, with a more experienced squad and still made the dome as the #1 seed... I agree though, way too much pressure playing 3 games in just 10 days, plus being ranked nationally, and #1 locally didn't help either...

Agreed...

Wasnt Karr's coach at Aug the same time as Wilson... Or Aug95 can answer for sure

I believe they both were teammates at Aug and graduated '91... Forget though, I was in 8th grade during the time...
