Oregon 48 Tenn 13......... Did you forget about that one? In that game that SEC d-line actually was "begging" Oregons offense for a breather. One of those SEC d-linemen actually told an Oregon o-lineman that if Oregon kept that pace he was going to puke on the field.......

You do realize that Tenn had no depth and the pace of Oregon wore them out in the second half. I believe it was tied at half-time, so dont make it out like it was a complete beat down. Tenn had some talent, but just no depth...against a type of offense like oregon, it was just a matter of time. However, LSU has depth....and are better than the DLine of Tenn.....LSU wins this game 28-16.

You make my point for me. The guy was trying to make it sound like the SEC was full of Farleys. Tenn had some talent, but they had no depth and they weren't well conditioned.

I continue to agree that LSU is a much different animal, much better than a Tenn for example. Sometimes posters try and sell the SEC as dominate top to bottom. I have total respect for LSU, the fans, and the talent, just don't tell me the Vandy's, and KY jellies of the world are powerhouse defenses. I'll give total respect to the Auburn (last year), Bama and LSU teams no problem at all in that area.

I'll stick with my Oregon 21 LSU 18 score. This is going to be low scoring and close. LSU has a great defense and an offense that I'm just not sure about when it comes to throwing the ball. I suspect timing on passes could be an issue with only one full week as the #1 QB for Lee.

Is it not the same team that played LSU at home?
