Went back home for the Spain Park and Noxubee County (MS) game last night.

SPs Dbs Chris Humes and Devon Brown looked awesome. Devon "Dee" is commited to UAB but hes probly gonna get offered by Arkansas soon, and Chris has UK, State, and UGA offers and a Bama offer that will be on the way if his grades look good.

SP also has a junior WR commited to Clemson, Drake Grisham, and he had a awesome TD on a screen pass for a about 50 yards in which he cut across the field and made about 4 or 5 guys miss

Watched Evangel & Farmerville on my laptop from the Jam at the Joe (LaTech) last night.

Evangel won 35-0 but didn't look good on the offensive side of the ball until the second half. The only points they got in the first half were two TD's on a blocked field goal that was returned all the way and a kickoff return. Dwight Gatlin, a DB returned the kickoff.

Evangel's receivers dropped several passes that would have made it more one sided.

Farmerville will be tough for anybody to run on with a couple of near 300 pound tree stumps in the middle of their line. Trae Ford is one of them. I never caught the other guy's name.

They have some good skill guys but I don't see them having much of a passing game unless they set it up by running the ball.

They opened the game with two 80 yard drives but couldn't score from inside the twenty.

Vece Braggs, their quarterback, looks like the best player on the team. He had several long runs on both planned and improvised plays. Anyone who has been around Farmerville football for the last 35-40 years knows the Braggs name and associates it with spectacular athletes.

Farmerville junior running back, J.T. Brown, had a 61 yard run.
