not sure on the crossbow. we were still in ACT 1 and had a plethora of blunt weapons, sharp weapons, etc.
no guns or crossbows i've seen yet.
but hell, there's so many weapons just in the first act i wouldn't doubt it.

The absurd maneuverability of the vehicles makes it so much fun to fly around turns while plowing over zombies.

does the truck take damage over time? Just had to punch out my windshield. Also, does the truck go back to the lifeguard tower on its own?

I "think" that it doesn't take damage if you don't hit any other objects besides zombies. This doesn't include having your car attacked by them if stopped.

yeh i think it loses health over time but we've done some crazy damage to them and haven' seen them blowup yet. dunno.
eventually you'll know a couple of spots where there are always trucks. i know of 4 off the top of my head.
