My deal? I'm not defending anything to the death. I'm trying to place things into perspective in the face of (typical) hyperbolic irrational outrage. Young men are going to do dumb shite. Some of it, like breaking curfews and brawling in bars, can be dealt with in-house. Not every situation requires a fricking inquisition and firing squad.
