I started going to the camp with dad and papaw soon as I could walk. That's where I grew up. I took my little boy last year 6-7 times. I built a low to the ground box stand fully enclosed w/ tinted windows. He did fine considering. About 2 hours is the most we could stay in the stand. One hunt we left the camp about 4pm. Took another 3 year old who's dad is in the camp with us to the stand. At 4:40 I shot this cull 6. He was 30 yards in front of the stand. The boys went nuts. Probably the favorite deer I've ever shot, and I've shot plenty. Bring an Ipod w/ some Blues Clues and whatnot, Little Debbies and hot choclate.

That is awesome.
Not sure what age my dad started bringing me but I would say about 4 or 5. Those are some of my earliest memories that i can recall. We lived in south Tx then and my dad was in the oilfeild, I remember riding around the ranches while he was checking wells and he always had his gun. It was awesome for me when he would shoot a deer or turkey. He told me after I was grown that one day he missed one and i told em if he had let me shoot I would have killed him, .
