i know. just wish my brother pitched. it'll be his first year of varsity and he's a monster hitter. just sucks this happened right now

It really doesn't matter because everyone else had to use those bats also and scouts are well aware of the changes. I would suggest he goes with the Easton Power Brigade XL version if he is a power hitter or the S version if he is a smaller guy. All other companies besides Easton release their bats during the CWS. Since BBCOR is a new technology 6 months makes a big difference,even with the BBCOR limitations, and the Easton Power Brigades are A LOT better than the DiMarinis. The high end Power Brigades are $399 but if he is a varsity player looking to play in college or get drafted it is well worth the money!
