You can sub as many guys as you want in a friendly. After his performances in the Gold Cup, you would think he would be way above Clark and Rogers in the pecking order. I was just curious if there was a reason why he didn't dress out today.
I think Freddy's place on the team is secure b/c JK realizes Freddy is unique in the player pool. He just needs to play with a club.

I'll take Freddy to an MLS club, even if it's Chivas

I feel better overall. We actually have some selection questions when Dempsey and Holden and Chandler and Jozy come back and that's a good thing.
If we go with 1 striker, probably the best option at this point (this idea that you can't be a good attacking team with one striker is ludicrous) then is it Jozy, or Juan, or even Demps?
What's the attacking three behind him? Demps, Donovan, Bedoya, Adu, Shea, maybe even Holden in the center of a 4-2-3-1?
If Holden doesn't play an attacking role then who are the two more deep lying midfielders? Holden and Bradley? Jones? Torres? Edu and Beckerman as squad players? We have options.
Our back line is still depressing. Who's our least shitty left back? And what will the central defense partnership be? But I'm feeling relatively optimistic about the front 6 which is a nice change.
