I was ushering as a Boy Scout for that game. Crowd was OK but not as good as '79 USC which I attended also. Just a good Saturday night TS crowd pulling for their team.
Thing I remember was an Advocate sports page article about the size of Nebraska's offensive line. They were the biggest in the nation in both total weight and average lineman weight.One player was slightly over 300 lbs. which seems funny today. The rest were in the 275-285 range.
