I was in law school that season. A great game and I felt we outplayed them. Seems like the crowd (but maybe just the students) gave the team a standing ovation at the end of the game. I have been to a lot of big games but that one was special. We were a pretty big underdog and the team played their hearts out. Crowd wasn't as fired up as the USC crowd, though. I guess it was beause we had played Nebraska before. I remember that Nebraska brought a lot of people, all with their red stuff on.

What I remember most was how many Nebraska fans had traveled. Their fans were unlike the fans from most other teams we play regularly - very classy! As I recall the crowd was loud but not rabid, maybe the opposition had something to do with that.
Mostly it was a memorable night because the outcome was so unexpected. One of my favorite games ever! (Along with ND a couple of years earlier and Alabama 2010)
