All off-season Krags was the difference maker in this team. Now, his removal from the OC position to a limited QB coach roll is now no big deal.

Why are the 2 inconsistent? The big difference maker in my opinion was getting rid of a "the Wizard" and his incomprehensible schemes and going for a simplified, technically sound approach. Kragthorpe, if media reports can be believed, has already effected such a change, and in his role as QB coach, will continue to do so. So yes, it's a big deal, but i don't see any hypocrisy in not running around like the building's on fire.

Best of luck to Krags and his family, I wish him well.

So are we looking for a new guy or is Stuwarda the guy now?

Well, you are different than most, because all of the positive talk this off-season (and growth with Jefferson) has been because of the arrival and influence of Krag, not the departure of Crowton. Now, the man behind the biggest influence and the biggest reason for the positive outlook will have his role diminished, severely.

Nobody is recommending acting like the sky will fall, but to be confident of what the staff can do does not have to diminish the loss.

The loss of Krag from the OC position and the dimished roll he will face is huge, no need to deny it. It's like saying 3 int's isn't a big deal in a game. It i a very big deal, but it doesn't mean you still can't win.
