I know OSU has Colorado, Vandy or Cinci (on neutral site?) planned as the "second" OOC BCS game in the next couple years, but it has been a while since they have scheduled two. And those were probably on the docket since before the BCS. The point is that after the BCS system started, most non-USC teams are only scheduling around one OOC BCS game per year.

Miami in 2010
USC in 2009
USC in 2008
Washington in 2007
Texas in 2006 (Cincinnati was scheduled before BigEast move)
Texas in 2005
NCState in 2004
Washington and NCState in 2003
Texas Tech and Washington St in 2002
UCLA in 2001
Arizona in 2000
2+ before that like a lot of schools but moreso for OSU.

Your point about the Pac10 not playing OOC BCS games after going to a 9 game conference schedule also doesn't match the schedules. Heck, the SEC has played tons of games against them over the last few years alone.

I stand corrected. I looked at the past ten years for the P10 (2001-2005 were years when they played eight conf games; 2006-2010 were years when they played nine), and I tallied down the first six teams in ABC order, and they schedule BCS opponents with almost exactly the same frequency now as before (I didn't bother finishing it out since it appeared to be so consistent).

This has, however, been the choice of the Pac-10's schools. Going to nine conference games didn't rob anyone of a home game; schools are free to schedule Sun Belt and MAC schools if they please and have seven or eight home games per season; same goes for the Big Ten.
