Some were probably converted.
IMO, the win over Bama (Saban) coupled with the simulataneous demise of USC, Texas, and UF (all considered our primary competition nationally just a few years back) have catapulted Les's status in the eyes of many Tiger fans. And yet the Les before any of that is largely the same Les as now.
