But with Saban, no stain sticks. Strange perception
Some of the reason for that is, people believe Saban will correct the miscues and they will not happen over and over. That doesn't seem to be the case with Miles. The same problems fans gripe about game after game never seem to get fixed.

Oh for the love of mike, get a clue you people!

People have been complaining about Saban sitting on leads since he first came to Baton Rouge.

They're still complaining about it in Tuscaloosa.

Every coach has both good and bad points. Our present coach out-coached our old coach last year, badly.

Don't believe me? Check out what the Alabama beat writers had to say about last year's game:

quote:

Miles outcoached Saban in the second half. I repeat. I did not stutter. Miles outcoached Saban in the second half.

Time and again, Miles pulled something unusual out of his hat, and Saban was left holding the bag.

There was the LSU fake punt. And the LSU reverse to the tight end on fourth-and-short. Not to mention the long LSU TD pass and the LSU two-point pass and the long LSU third-down conversion pass.

They all worked like a charm.

It just goes to show that scientists really have discovered the exact distance between genius and madness.

It's one Miles. Les Miles.

It's sad when Alabama fans and sportswriters have a better appreciation of our coach than our own fan base.
