It was far prettier than 2008. 2008 was horrendous from the start of SEC play until the end of the regular season.

The best game we played...we lost...in OT. At least in '09, we had a better defense and we played a complete game against AU.

And he didn't manipulate numbers. He presented them. They are factual...not manipulated.

Well, Fish we did win one more game and didn't realy get blown out in 2009, like in 2008 so from that perspective I hear you.

But the same recurring penalties (receiver not covered,etc.), some selfish players at positions of leadership, trading a bad defense for an even worse offense, some of the same sideline organizational issues, curious running back rotations, those were things I saw as concerning trends that one more win in the bigger perspective did not make me feel better about going into last year.

I'm not asking anyone to agree with me nor am I saying I'm right and anyone else is wrong. Heck, I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again many times more.

I think you and Lonnie's factual representations are certainly reasonable.
