It's pretty obvious Les has a mental inferiority complex. When T-Bob snapped the ball against Tenn without the leader of the team saying hike, he violated chain of command and disrespected the chosen one. He's just doing his best to make sure those who play for him are not smarter than him. Im sure it's still not working perfectly because a few of the brothas we have are pretty sharp. I guess he's just playing the odds. (Just kidding, but who knows with Les. He doesn't think coach or eat like other coaches.)
