The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman

Any other nerds read this? I'm about to finish and have been blown away by how good it is. This is one of my first comics or graphic novels to read as an adult. I've read three of Gaiman's books, and this is easily his best work IMHO.

Yep, I have the comics still, collected them back around 1990... Awesome series. Also check out Death.

Keep trying to get into it. My best friend gave me The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 1 for Christmas 2 years ago and I don't think I've made it more than 20 pages into it yet.
I'd say I might have just outgrown comic books but I read Preacher last year and LOVED it.
