Gamespot has a 19min. preview:
Gamespot - Elite Preview

I couldn't help but chuckle while watching this (probably about half of it) at work last night.
The guy talks like people are going to spend hours in front of their computer (or smart phone) studying the maps, heat zones, weapons and where they got killed in previous games. 'Spend time scouting and setting up loadouts so when you get to game system you can jump right in'
The technology is pretty neat, and I'm not saying I wouldn't sit down and go through the features once or twice but I just don't see the value of it all. I'm not going to go play COD for a couple hours and then go to my computer to debrief my previous missions and plan my next ones.... a little over the top.

I play video games as a hobby.

If I suck at a couple of matches, I'll make a concerted effort to suck less but that doesn't involve a detailed statistical analysis.

I think COD Elite is just a bullshite cash grab, but it'll probably be successful and usher in more ways to sucker us out of cash.
