I have a suggestion (not sarcastic): just leave them. I go months without visiting the Rant at times for exactly this reason. These moronic jackasses get more boring than the woefully few interesting posters are interesting, so I just leave. After a few weeks/months I swing back around and see how things are going. Apparently, the idiots are worse than ever, so I'll be moseying along again.

Oh, and btw, the conversations over at Tiger Den, while much less active, are FAR more intelligent, rational, realistic, interesting, and all around represent MUCH better quality people. And even there there are a few assinine individuals out to ruin the conversation for everyone else.
