Every course I've ever played on just prior to the PGA tournament play, and in the pro-ams I've played, I always played much better. The balls roll true, the divots out of the fairways are always perfect dollar bills and the sand is always consistent to depth and texture. The only issue is the rough is usually longer than usual.
