Casting aside any fanboy ******** and looking at the straight facts, who gets limbs cut off and who loses fights, Obi-Wan Kenobi is the clear winner.

- Defeats Maul (Qui-Gon couldn't)
- Defeats Grievous
- Holds own against Jango Fett, which even *s***** Coleman Trebor couldn't.
- Defeats Anakin, the "chosen one".
- Survives the Jedi purge, which only he and Yoda manage.

Obi-Wan did all this without losing sight of the morality of the Jedi. And he had a bad feeling about events all along, when other Jedi spurned him. He knew Palpatine was a bad guy, when others made fun of his political views.

Also, given how little training he received, and late he received it (remember, Anakin at age 10 or whatever was considered too old), Luke was pretty damn badass.

Exactly my point. Had Anakin not gone to the dark side, he clearly had potential to be the most powerful Jedi ever. But Obi-Wan is and always has been my favorite. Such a badass in his younger days when he took out some of the most powerful sith and then in his older days when he trained Luke from beyond the grave.

I agree that all things considered Luke was powerful, but I've never been a huge fan of his. He beat a well past his prime Vader and was getting his arse kicked by Sidious. Anakin was always a more interesting character and truly better than Luke imo. I feel like he could have killed the emperor if he wanted to pre-injury
