If the heat win the finals next year then what?

Then he's 1-2 in NBA Finals. Jordan was 6-0.

All thrust and no vector is an aircraft term. It means he's barreling straight ahead but unable to think effectively while doing it. That describes LeBron late in important games. It's almost like he fails to even show up.

At least Pippen came close to making the Finals in 1994 and 2000!!!

And without Jordan was unable to even to turn the trick. In 1994, Pippen's Bulls lost to the same Knicks team that Jordan's Bulls NEVER lost to in the conference finals. He was supposed to be the missing link in Houston, but again fell flat on his face.

Aside from Jordan in Chicago, Pippen had the same supporting cast, but couldn't get past the resentment of being forced to share the spotlight with somebody like Tony Kukoc long enough to beat the Knicks. As outsppoken as he was, you never saw Jordan go mental on Phil Jackson late in important games over a call. Pippen did it twice, and he'll be remembered for it as much as anything he accomplished in his career.

But he has taken 2 different teams to the finals and has done so at a younger age than Jordan won his first finals.

Trying to defend James finals this year and his playoff loses to Orlando and Boston the years before has to be a tireless task. The guy quit and stunk up this years finals and I dont see how thats even up for debate.

He shouldnt be mentioned with Jordan period, even Pip knows that now imo.

I guess you don't see the hole in your logic here? Replace freakin' PETE MYERS with a top 50 all time HOF of Pippen's level and I guarantee you Pippen would have won a title without Jordan in 1994.

Uhh, what?

You do realize that was one of the greatest individual playoffs performances EVER, right?

40/9/8 with numerous HUGE plays late, and Bomber is hating on the performance.

Yikes.

He choked in the end but youre right, it doesnt compare to his epic failure the last two years.

This years finals =

Like with the game tying 3? Or was it the late layup? Or was it the 2 free throws with .1 seconds left to tie it? Which of those was teh choke? Just curious.

I guess it was the 25/7/7 in the final game. What a choker LOL.

Any thoughts about this years finals or did you get a tidbit of something you can defend with the Orlando series loss.

Boy you're trying to change the subject away from your silly Orlando statements real quick, aren't you?

Can't say I blame you there.

Maybe Im just throwing you a little bone out of mercy! He stunk in the last game of that Orlando series but it wasnt epic, Ill give you that.

Especially after the greatness that is this years finals. A new measuring stick for CHOKE has been established IMO.

I disagree. Pippen was bound and determined to be the man they called on in every late-game situation, and throwing a temper tantrum is going to disrupt ANY team, as was evidenced by the Eastern Conference finals loss to the Pistons the year before they won their first title. It wouldn't have mattered WHO they put in that lineup. Pippen had a long history of letting his alligator mouth overload his azz, and fair or not, it's alot of what he'll be remembered for.
