True. I thought they were going to eat New Orleans lunch after Katrina, but the sizzle has simmered. The loss of the refueling tanker stung pretty hard. That was a political nightmare up against Boeing and the "domestic" jobs.

Well the trajectory of the two cities over the long-term is far different. NOLA is static at best, unfortunately.

The refueling tanker loss was a giant kick in the groin. What made it even worse is that EADS/Mobile originally won the project but had it stolen due to national politics. Why bother even having a contest if you`re going to keep re bidding until the preferred company wins it? As for a restaurant, Felix`s is decent. Mikato Japanese Steakhouse is a good casual place too. I thought their was suppose to be a really good restaurant in the Battle House hotel.
