What are your thoughts (put aside LSU homerism for a second) about potential dark horses?
I am confused. LSU is probably one of the favorites and not a dark horse.
Out of the SEC maybe Florida. I can't see them being considered a favorite with their coaching changes and stuggles last year.
So who are the favorites right now:
Oklahoma
LSU
Bama
Oregon
?

Good point. LSU is easily a favorite, and not a dark horse. Anything less than winning the SECW outright would have to be a disappointment for Tiger fans.
FSU is a very good shout. As mentioned the recruiting has been great and the athletes have always been there. It remains to be seen if the coaches can get maximize their potential and put a "Golden Age of Bobby" type team on the gridiron.
Arizona State might be one of the most talented teams you don't know about. They had a couple of late collapses last year, but they have plenty of talent and a coach that has tasted greatness (but maybe a lot of liquor since then).

I wasn't trying to say that. I was asking people to think objectively. I know LSU is a favorite, not a dark horse.
