JJ... has done nothing but try his best at LSU. The dude studies film. He's in probably the best shape of any of our QB's since he arrived on campus. He's played through injuries. His mechanics are not good coupled with a fairly weak arm and slow release. That said, he's given us his best. I don't expect anything better or worse this year. For the most part, he is a winner. In times of struggle I hope Les pulls him and let's someone help him out. If we can do that throughout the season before games get out of hand we have a chance to win it all.

So you expect him to be one of the worst QBs in the nation again this year, but he should start because he tries hard? Sorry, can't get behind that idea at all. I do expect improvement from JJ this year though. I think he'll average 250 total yards a game this year while leading LSU on a great run.
