This kid is just showing up on the radar, but with his size (6-5/195) and this jumping ability:
he might be a stud!

I posted this a couple months ago. I don't think one person posted in the thread.
Sleeper for sure.
Was a beast in the Basketball State Championship.
He also has a ton of swag.

He is gonna need to ball out at camp for him to get an offer, but he has a pretty decent shot. His shot is much better than most.

They're saying his film is pretty damn impressive.

Williams Part II
This guy is as good or better than Avery. He just needs to work on his grades and his work ethic.

This says alot about Dwayne, I'm glad he's getting some recognition. He has all the measurables for sure.

Yea Sonny and Shea made it out to see him, and they were saying if he had his grades in order he'd have an offer from everyone he wanted. I completely believe it after seeing this kid play. He'd be the most physically talented kid we sign if he gets an offer.

how bad are his grades?

Don't have firsthand knowledge, but they're supposed to be bad from what people say. He has a slight chance of making it as opposed to Williams, but it's doubtful.

He's gonna need to ball-out in summer school and show them his report card to get an offer. He'll be the best WR at our camps, and once people see his film they'll agree.

hope he gets them where they need to be. Was looking for anything out there on him and found this: Advocate game article

LAFAYETTE — A knee injury could have been a stopping point for Dwayne Benjamin.
Instead, he and the Northside football team switched all systems to go.
When the 6-foot-5 wide receiver limped to a sideline at Viking Stadium on Friday after a 43-yard reception midway through the second quarter, Benjamin and the Vikings coaches knew his route options would be limited.
“Dwayne is a tough kid,” Northside coach Vincent DeRouen said. “He could have shut it down. He couldn’t really push off or cut. He had to run a lot of go routes (straight upfield routes).”
With 10 minutes left in the game against Parkway, Northside trailed 16-13 and started a drive 80 yards from the end zone. Benjamin managed to get enough separation from a defender on the opening play of the drive to haul in a 47-yard pass that set the Vikings sailing toward a winning score.
“I was not feeling all the way normal, but I had to do it for my team,” Benjamin said.
Benjamin finished the 20-16 Northside win with three catches for 137 yards and a touchdown. He credited the rushing attack led by Terrell Alfred as being a big benefit. Alfred finished with 147 yards on 26 carries.
“When we run play action, people have to respect Terrell, and safeties bite on the play action,” Benjamin said.
Kid doesn't sound like a dummy at all. He knows enough to give his teammates and coaches credit where its due.
I bet he can do the work to get the grades up.
Probably just got to the point of realizing grades are as important as anything else right now.
Definitely pulling for him to get the them up!
