Chad ... I was merely saying that inspections were in place early in the process... well before it was reported to the public that the barges actually hit the bridge.

Read what I was responding to before making a silly comment such as that. Roadways when closed are for safety reasons....not for political gain or other assumed agenda as you seem to be implying. I was making a point of how the roadway was opened so quickly .. our crews were addressing the bridge inspection early on so that IT COULD be opened in a timely manner.
