What are you hinting at? Stop being so mysterious. Even when tugs hit remotely located, but valuable fixed objects the USCG will track AIS to find the offender. Increasing the likelihood of capture reduces the likelihood of a failure to report.

Bingo, not to mention the owner of the barge will notice and want answers to how it happen, barges dont get banged up and the the owner not find out what happen or at least fire someone's arse for it
