Guys ... the bridge was hit FAR before it was reported to the news. The bridge was being inspected by our bridge maintenance crews before the roadway was closed. They don't need to inspect the entire bridge .. only the impacted and potentially affected areas of the bridge. This does not take that long, but takes far longer than 4 minutes my friends. I assure you it was a thorough job as always. All parishes have crews on call 24 hours a day for quick responses to these types of issues.
